Job summary

Paradies Lagardère at Whataburger in San Antonio International Airport seeks a Crew Trainer to promote guest satisfaction through ongoing associate training and adherence to SOPs.

You will ensure team members understand expectations—from food prep and stocking to serving and cash-out procedures—and provide Micros and Data Central training while greeting guests and maintaining a first-class traveler experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service training preferred.
• Ability to lead shifts and motivate a team.
• Familiarity with SOPs and cash-out procedures.

At Whataburger, located inside the San Antonio International Airport, Crew Trainers promote guest satisfaction through consistent and ongoing training of associates and adhering to company Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs). Ensure team members know and understand the expectations of their role including preparing food, stocking supplies, serving, proper cash-out procedures, Micros and Data Central training and cleaning tables and counters, resetting/bussing tables, greeting guests and answering questions. Whether working in an on-trend national brand, or an iconic concept from the local community, you will create and deliver first-class experiences
for the traveling public.

• Check food quality and temperatures throughout the day to ensure food safety expectations are maintained.
• Ensure the security and safety of guests and team members through pro-actively following proper sanitation and safety procedures.
• Follow proper procedures and guidelines for opening and closing the restaurant.
• Identify back-ups in the kitchen and work with managers to re-organize when necessary.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to getting the job done.
