Smoke Shack at San Antonio International Airport is hiring a Cashier/Expo to deliver exceptional service by preparing beverages and food, taking orders, and ensuring fast, friendly guest experiences for travelers.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menu items, handling payments, verifying ages for alcohol, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked service area in a busy airport environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and acknowledge guests and take drink and food orders; provide information about menu items and upsell where appropriate.
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of craft cocktails, beer and wines, and food; maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings.
• Verify legal drinking age by checking identifications.
• Process transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system; handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Keep the bar clean, sanitized, and well-stocked; stock and clean glassware.
• Perform opening and closing side work as directed.

• Responds appropriately to customer concerns.Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests.
• Ensures a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar.
• Stocks and cleans glassware through the operation and maintenance of the glass washer and sanitizer.
• Performs opening and closing side work, as directed.
