The Role

Solera is seeking an experienced automotive Trainer to support training activities in the UK & Ireland. As an expert Trainer, you will report to the Regional Training Manager and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training courses both on-site and remotely. This position is virtual and will require travel to various locations to deliver on-site courses.

What You’ll Do

1. Deliver training courses to participants, both on-site and remotely, ensuring high-quality content delivery and effective knowledge transfer.
2. Develop and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, and other resources, to ensure they are up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
3. Collaborate with the training team to identify training needs, design training programs, and develop training schedules.
4. Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to VDA standards and incorporate them into training programs.
6. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent training service and addressing any training-related inquiries or concerns.
7. Continuously improve training methodologies and techniques to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training delivery.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between training objectives and business goals.
9. Monitor and report on training program effectiveness, analyzing feedback and performance data to make recommendations for improvements.
10. Support the Sales team with closing training opportunities as the SME for training.
11. Collaborate with other Professional Services team members in the country/region, particularly when involved with major projects, e.g., supporting migrations of customers across the Solera platforms.
12. Work to KPIs on the quality of the training delivered and ensure customer satisfaction.
13. Collaborate with Sales and Rev Ops to ensure revenue targets are met.

What You’ll Bring

1. VDA certification is highly valuable, with a strong understanding of VDA standards and processes, particularly for the body shop segment.
2. Proven experience as a trainer, delivering automotive training courses to participants at various levels.
3. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
4. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with participants and stakeholders.
5. Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
6. Highly motivated and results-driven, with a customer-centric approach.
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Willingness to travel to various locations to deliver on-site training courses.
9. Proficiency in using virtual training platforms and tools.
10. Knowledge of the automotive industry and experience in collision repair or related fields is preferred.
