Job summary

GSMR is seeking a Food & Beverage Runner for seasonal shifts in Bryson City, NC. You will help serve passengers, transport meals, and assist with clearing and cleaning in the dining cars to ensure smooth on-train service.

The role requires reliability, English communication skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced rail environment. Training and tips are provided as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food service and preparation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old and available on weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from kitchen to passengers and assist in clearing tables.
• Assist in loading/unloading during train stops and maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
• Receive deliveries, stock and organize supplies for service.
• Prepare train for departure, including ice and beverage service.
• Adhere to safety, service standards, and incident reporting as required.
