Job summary

Young Automotive Group is hiring a Trailers & Equipment Parts Associate / Counter Person to help customers select trailer and equipment parts and accessories. You will locate or order parts, support service technicians, and prepare invoices while maintaining a professional appearance.

We value a stable work history, strong communication, and a willingness to pass background checks and drug screening. Prior trailer or equipment parts experience is preferred, and Tekion (ADP) exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Stable work history with demonstrated success.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Trailer, towing, agricultural, or equipment parts experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with trailer or equipment systems a plus.
• Experience with Tekion (ADP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting the right trailer and equipment parts and accessories in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Identify and source parts such as axles, hubs, bearings, brakes, couplers, hitches, lighting and wiring, jacks, tires, and hydraulic components.
• Locate or order parts as needed.
• Support service technicians with accurate and timely parts for repairs.
• Prepare invoices for parts sold over the counter.
• Answer phone calls and assist customers over the phone.
• Follow up with customers on special order parts.
• Keep the parts manager informed on the status of accounts.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
