Job summary

The Young Automotive Group is hiring a Medium Duty Parts Associate / Counter Person to join our team in Kaysville, UT. You’ll help fleet, commercial, and retail customers identify and select the correct medium duty parts, look up parts by VIN and catalog, and prioritize downtime-sensitive orders.

This role supports service technicians with accurate parts for repairs, prepares invoices, and answers calls. A stable work history and strong communication are valued, and experience with Tekion (ADP)

Qualifications

• Stable work history with demonstrated success.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Medium duty, heavy duty, diesel, or commercial truck parts experience preferred.
• Experience with Tekion (ADP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist fleet, commercial, and retail customers in identifying and selecting the correct medium duty parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Look up parts by VIN, part number, and catalog, including diesel engine, brake, suspension, electrical, and drivetrain components.
• Locate or order parts as needed, prioritizing downtime-sensitive orders for commercial customers.
• Support service technicians with accurate and timely parts for repair orders.
• Prepare invoices for counter, phone, and fleet account sales.
• Answer phone calls and assist customers over the phone.
• Follow up with customers on special order and backordered parts.
• Keep the parts manager informed on the status of accounts and fleet orders.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
