Job summary

ADUSA Transportation, the transportation arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, seeks a switcher to safely move trailers for loading/unloading of grocery items and salvage. You will operate yard management (YMS) systems, ensure temperature logging accuracy, and maintain compliance with company standards on safety and productivity.

Ideal candidates will have CDL class A where required, be at least 21, and bring a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Move trailers into appropriate dock doors for loading and unloading
• Maintain safety and productivity standards on the yard and docks
• Accurately log temperatures for reefers on the yard
• Complete yard audits and follow directions from YMS system

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to dock doors for loading and unloading of products
• Move trailers for unloading salvage from stores
• Follow YMS directions to other locations as needed
• Maintain accurate temperature logs for running reefers on the yard
