Job summary

Ahold Delhaize Distribution & Transportation in Elloree, SC is seeking a switcher to safely move trailers for loading, unloading and salvage operations, supporting our distribution network.

Responsibilities include directing trailers to dock doors, maintaining safety standards, and logging temperature data for reefers on the yard. A CDL may be required, with 21+ age and clean driving record preferred.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL may be required at some facilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age in some locations.
• Clean driving record with 3 years (or 300,000 miles) experience.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Move trailers for unloading salvage from retail stores.
• Move trailers as directed by YMS to other locations as applicable.
• Maintain compliance with safety, accuracy and productivity standards.
• Maintain running temperature logs for reefers on the yard.
• Complete yard audits using hand-held devices.
