Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of trailers, including dry vans, reefers, and flatbeds. The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems and a strong commitment to safety and DOT compliance.

You will join a large North American fleet operation with over 80,000 trailers, 240 service bays, and 430+ technicians, offering comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude in trailer repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of brake systems, suspensions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and DOT requirements.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy trailer components.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Repair or replace brake systems, suspensions, axles, landing gear, and wheel-end components.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems and wiring.
• Complete frame, body, and structural repairs including welding.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Document repairs and maintain accurate work orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate repair needs with supervisors and team.
