Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking a Trailer Technician / Trailer Mechanic in Massachusetts to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of trailers from dry vans to reefers. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems and ensure DOT compliance.

The role offers weekly pay, a sign-on bonus, and access to benefits, with opportunities for growth and hands-on training in a fast-paced fleet maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Trailer Technician or similar role with mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of brake, suspension, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform welding/fabrication and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on trailers
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing
• Repair or replace brakes, suspensions, axles, landing gear, wheel ends
• Troubleshoot lighting systems, wiring, and electrical components
• Complete frame, body and structural repairs including welding
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance
• Document repairs and maintain accurate work orders
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Communicate repair needs with supervisors and team
