Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking Mobile Trailer Technicians to travel to customer locations for trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs. This hands-on role fits technicians who enjoy problem-solving, independence, and delivering quality field service for a North American leader.

You’ll work on dry van, flatbed, utility, and cargo trailers with competitive pay, weekly pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.
• Strong attention to safety and familiarity with tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair and replace trailer components including: brake systems, suspension systems, electrical, floors, doors, frames, and liftgate issues.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as required.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle.
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
