Qualifications
- Experience as a Trailer Technician or similar role with hands‑on repair of trailers.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems in trailers.
- Familiarity with brake, suspension, lighting, and wheel-end components.
- Ability to read repair manuals and use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot effectively.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on trailers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
- Repair or replace brake systems, suspensions, axles, landing gear, and wheel-end components.
- Troubleshoot lighting systems, wiring, and electrical components.
- Document repairs and maintain accurate work orders in the maintenance system.
