Under supervision, you will gain foundational knowledge of tools, shop safety, and company procedures while learning to service air brake systems and FHWA inspections. The role may involve outdoor work and multiple shifts, including nights and weekends, with potential overtime. You will shadow senior technicians, complete work orders, and train toward standard repair times and warranty guidelines, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements and across shifts, including nights/weekends.
• Able to supply basic tools or purchase through toolbox program.
• Proficient with computer basics (MS Office).
• Trade school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a senior technician to learn repairs per company and manufacturer standards.
• Complete work orders and learn standard repair times and warranty guidelines.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with staff and customers.
• Train to perform routine preventative maintenance and basic air brake system repairs; FHWA inspections as trained.
