U.S. Xpress is seeking a Technician, I Trailer for its Ellenwood, GA location. The role involves basic preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent and a diesel technology diploma is preferred.

A valid driver’s license and own tools are required, with DOT certification preferred. Expect a hands-on shop environment with strong safety and productivity standards. Compensation ranges from $22.35 to $27.31 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A Technical Diploma from an accredited Diesel Technology Program is preferred.
• Experience and industry knowledge related to diesel equipment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and routine preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Inspect brakes, tires, wiring and related systems.
• Check vehicle fluids and general maintenance items.
• Change tires and grease mechanical parts.
• Maintain productivity and meet service time goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
