Job summary

Paragon Leasing L.P. is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform scheduled and non-routine repairs on trailers and refrigeration units.

You will ensure lights and wiring are secure, fix coupling issues, and handle brake systems with attention to DOT standards, while maintaining a clean shop environment. The role offers hands-on growth in trailer maintenance, with opportunities in a growing department and lateral movement within Stevens Transport's Paragon Leasing fleet.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of trailer technician experience.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to read and understand operating manuals, service manuals and written instruction.
• Ability to clearly read, write and speak English.
• DOT standards knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled and non-routine repairs to meet DOT standards.
• Repair or replace brakes, wheel seals and suspension.
• Repairing or replacing airlines.
• Preventable maintenance on ThermoKing refrigeration units.
• Maintain a clean and neat shop.
