Job summary

Transdev is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician to perform routine maintenance and repair work on Class 8 trailers and related vehicles. You will ensure safety, reliability, and longevity of our assets while following Transdev standards.

The role supports PMs and inspections, maintains maintenance records, and collaborates with senior technicians. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred CDL and ASE credentials, and prior diesel repair experience.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 5 years of automotive or diesel repair experience.
• Class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred; expected to have 1 ASE within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on Class 8 trailers and related vehicles.
• Assist with PMs, safety inspections, and annual inspections.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and parts used.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems under supervision.
• Follow Transdev standards, safety policies and procedures.
