Job summary

Total Transportation of Mississippi in Olive Branch is seeking a Trailer Technician ll to perform diagnostics and repairs on trailers, maintain preventive maintenance, and handle DOT paperwork on a weekend schedule. The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT/BRAKE certifications, and ability to work with hand tools and basic welding.

On-site work at OLIVE BRANCH USX TERMINAL with weekend hours 7:00am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• DOT and Brake Certifications required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to read and write.
• Must provide own hand tools adequate to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, air system, suspension, lighting, and body components on trailers.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
• Move trailers in and out of shop using a yard jockey.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area daily.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers.
• Check fluids and perform PMs as outlined.
