Job summary

pacetransportation is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of trailers, ensuring safety and performance. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include diagnosing brakes and electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, documenting services, and communicating repair recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• ASE or OEM certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trailers, including brakes, electrical systems, suspension, and structural components.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Communicate repairs and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repairs completed.
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and continually update repair techniques.
