Anderson Trucking Service, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician to join our team and maintain ATS-owned trailers. You’ll diagnose, repair, and inspect brake, electrical, steering, and hydraulic systems while performing welding and fabrication work.

You will work in a collaborative shop environment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. We offer substantial benefits, a sign-on bonus, and PTO from hire.

Qualifikationen

• Two year AAS degree in medium/heavy truck diesel or 1-3 years related experience.
• Good working knowledge of DOT regulations and out of service parameters.
• Proficient with trailer maintenance and diagnostic software.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Must be able to operate shop equipment and read installation manuals.

Aufgaben

• Perform inspections on ATS trailers per DOT/OSHA guidelines.
• Complete DOT inspections on outgoing trailers.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE usage at all times.
• Move tractors and trailers for maintenance.
• Perform welding and major/minor repairs as needed.
• Open repair orders and track parts used.
• Participate in online OEM training.
• Maintain proficiency across trailer, tire, and parts.
• Research problems using manuals/service bulletins.
• Support continuous improvement and teamwork.
