Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is a North American leader in trailer maintenance and fleet solutions. We seek a Mobile Trailer Technician to service commercial trailers at customer sites, traveling as needed across North America.

Responsibilities include inspecting brake and suspension systems, electrical wiring, and performing preventive maintenance and DOT inspections. Welding and fabricating are also part of the role, with emphasis on safety and quality in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

Experience as Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.
Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.

Responsibilities

Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
Repair and replace trailer components including brakes, suspension, electrical systems, floors and structures.
Weld and fabricate as required.
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle.
Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
