Job summary

Northwest Truck & Trailer is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform repairs on trailers in accordance with factory, dealership and DoT specifications. You will diagnose and repair air, brake, electrical, suspension and other systems using tools and welders.

The role requires the ability to read instructions, attend regularly, and work well both independently and as part of a team. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with potential for DOE pay and a sign-on bonus. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of mechanical trade school preferred or a minimum of 2 years of trailer technician experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Team player with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trailer systems including air, brake, electrical, suspension and other components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Inspect trailers and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable industry regulations.

Pay: $20-$34/hr. DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500-$5,000 DOE

Job Summary: Northwest Truck & Trailer is in search of a Trailer Technician to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for repairs to the trailer, including air, brake, electrical systems or other repairs. Trailers will be repaired in accordance with factory, dealerships & D.O.T. specifications by performing job tasks using hand and power tools and welders.

What We’re Looking For

• Completion of mechanical trade school program preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of trailer technician experience
