Job summary

Anderson Trucking Service in Minnesota is seeking a Trailer Technician Level 3 to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain ATS trailers and equipment. You will work on brake systems, electrical, steering, hydraulics, and welding while ensuring safety and reliability for over-the-road fleets.

The role requires reading manuals, basic computer use, strong attention to detail and reliable performance. A two-year diesel program degree is preferred, with 90-day target for certifications and a strong

Qualifications

• Two year AAS Degree in medium/heavy truck diesel program and 1–3 years of related field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and out-of-service parameters for tractors, trailers, and equipment.
• Ability to read installation manuals and understand manufacturer training.
• Must be able to operate shop equipment; DOT and forklift certification preferred or attainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, replace and repair brakes, electrical components, steering, hydraulics, and welding/fabrication.
• Perform inspections on incoming/outgoing ATS owned trailers following ATS and DOT criteria.
• Maintain, service and repair trailers to ensure road safety and reliability.
