Job summary

Anderson Trucking Service seeks a skilled Trailer Technician to inspect, diagnose, replace and repair brake systems, ABS, electrical components, steering and hydraulic systems on ATS trailers. You will perform preventive maintenance and welding tasks as part of a full-service shop team.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Training, safety standards and a collaborative environment are emphasized throughout ATS’s operations.

Qualifications

• Two year AAS Degree in medium/heavy truck diesel program.
• Good working Knowledge of DOT regulations and Out of Service parameters.
• Good working knowledge of trailer maintenance and diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, replace and repair brake systems and ABS.
• Perform DOT inspections on outgoing trailers.
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed and maintain equipment.
• Operate shop equipment and maintain safety procedures.
• Participate in OEM training and stay technically proficient.
