Job summary

Schneider in Rainbow City, AL is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections and component replacements on company trailers. You will work on site in the first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., and you will use maintenance software to create and track work orders. A technical degree or 1 year trailer tech experience is required; basic welding skills and familiarity with diagnostic software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
