Job summary

Schneider National is seeking a Trailer Technician in Putnam, CT to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on company trailers. You will work on-site, using maintenance software to document work orders and keep internal teams updated on progress.

The role requires a technical degree or at least 1 year of trailer technician experience, with basic welding skills preferred. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential, along with the ability to provide

Skills and qualifications:

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
