Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Putnam, CT is seeking a Trailer Technician for 1st shift (Mon-Wed, every other weekend) to perform routine maintenance and repairs on company trailers.

You will work with maintenance software, document work orders, and communicate progress with internal customers. The role requires a technical degree in welding/electronics or at least 1 year trailer experience, basic welding skills, and ability to provide own tools within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
