Job summary

Schneider in London, KY is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on company trailers. The role covers third shift hours (10:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) on a full-time schedule.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, use maintenance software to create work orders, and communicate status updates to internal customers while upholding safety standards. Ideal candidates have a technical degree or at least 1 year of trailer technician experience,

Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
