Job summary

Schneider in Edwardsville, IL is seeking a Trailer Technician for second shift to perform routine maintenance, inspections and component replacements on company trailers. The role includes using maintenance software to manage work orders and communicating progress to internal customers.

Qualified candidates will have a technical degree or at least 1 year of trailer technician experience, basic welding skills, and experience with diagnostic software.

Schedule: Full time; Monday-Wednesday and every other weekend, 3:00 p.m.-1:30 a.m.

• Starting wages are $23.80 - $29.70 per hour, based on experience.
  • Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working 50% or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time, receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked.
  • Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours, receive an additional $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked. (Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday – 5am Monday).
