Schneider National, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician in Edwardsville, IL, for 1st shift (Wed-Fri, every other weekend), 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m. The role focuses on routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and tracking work orders in our Edwardsville facility.

You will work with company trailers, use diagnostic software, and provide tool readiness within 30 days of hire. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.

• Starting wages are $23.80 - $29.70 per hour, based on experience.
  • Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working 50% or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time, receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked.
  • Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours, receive an additional $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked. (Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday – 5am Monday).
