Job summary

Schneider is seeking a Trailer Technician in Bloomfield, CT. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, rebuilds, and component replacements on company trailers, and you’ll work with maintenance software to track work orders.

The role involves on-site work on company trailers, with a first shift schedule and a weekend differential. A technical degree or 1 year of experience is required, plus basic welding and diagnostic software skills.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
