Job summary

NFI is seeking a skilled trailer mechanic in Circleville, Ohio to keep a fleet road-ready with diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. You'll work on electrical, braking, and suspension systems, perform welding when needed, and document all work for customers and teammates.

The role supports professional growth and utilizes modern tools in a collaborative shop environment. Ideal candidates have hands-on diagnostic ability with JPRO and OEM software, a valid driver's license (Class B

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled services: oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
• Diagnose trailer systems: electrical, suspension, and brakes
• Repair/replace tires, brake components, and suspension parts
• Execute welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Document work thoroughly and accurately
• Communicate status and recommendations to customers and teammates
• Follow shop and safety procedures without compromise

What you bring

• Valid driver's license
• Preferred: ability to obtain a Class B license
• Technical/advanced degree, or 1-3+ years of relevant maintenance experience
• Hands-on diagnostic capability with JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, multimeters, and Windows
• Resourceful problem-solver with strong communication and customer service skills
• Team-first mindset and reliability
• On-site evaluation with recommended training
