Job summary

NFI is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues across tractors and trailers in our dedicated fleet. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, conduct DOT inspections, and meet the physical demands of the role.

Valid driver’s license is required; Class B is preferred. On-site training, tools and PPE are provided, with competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, and a path for career development.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Class B license preferred.
• Technical or advanced degree or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated skill with JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork and customer service; effective oral/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on tractors and trailers.
