Job summary

NFI is seeking skilled trailer technicians in Texas to maintain and repair a dedicated fleet. You will diagnose electrical, suspension, and braking systems, perform routine services, and keep detailed service records. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer communication.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license.
  • Technical or advanced degree or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose trailer systems including electrical, suspension, and brakes.
  • Repair or replace worn parts such as tires, brakes and suspension components.
  • Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
  • Communicate with customers about repairs and maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Under the Hood: What It Takes to Join NFI

NFI Technician Expectations And Responsibilities
