Job summary

NFI Industries in Tacoma, WA is seeking experienced trailer mechanics to maintain and repair our dedicated fleet. You will diagnose electrical, suspension, and brake systems, perform welding as needed, and keep precise service records.

  • On-site evaluation with recommended training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose trailer systems, including electrical, suspension, and braking.
  • Repair or replace worn parts like tires, brakes, and suspension components.
  • Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
  • Maintain accurate service records of all work performed.
  • Communicate repairs and maintenance with customers.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines.

NFI technician expectations and responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations

  • Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, such as tires, brakes, and suspension components
  • Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed
