Responsibilities

• Moves trailers between yard, doors and yard areas
• Communicates with management/central control to coordinate trailer movements
• Documents trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment
• Loads/unloads packages and uses basic handling equipment
• Operates with safety procedures for yard switching
• Performs other duties as assigned
