Job summary

Stevens Transport is seeking a Trailer Shop Supervisor in Dallas, TX, to lead a team of technicians in a busy trailer maintenance shop. The role focuses on safety, timely repairs, and effective shop operations within a large fleet environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of leadership in fleet maintenance, experience with diagnostic software and Telematics tools, and a valid Class C license. This position emphasizes coordination with other shops and adherence to DOT safety standards.

Qualifications

3+ years of management and leadership in a fleet maintenance environment.
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Experience with Transportation Management Tools.
AS/400 experience preferred.
Diagnostic software experience is required.
Trailer maintenance and trailer body repair experience.
Valid Class C driver's license and ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

Oversees Technicians and shop operations to ensure fleet is running safely and on schedule.
Occasionally performing mechanical work.
Maintaining a safe and orderly shop environment.
Overseeing and plans internally generated repair orders.
Coordinating with other shops regarding repairs, requests, etc.
Manages parts inventory.
Communicating with management on daily shop status regarding repairs.
Maintain a Safety and DOT compliance environment.
Other duties as assigned.
