Job summary

Stevens Transport, Inc. seeks a Trailer Technician at our Paragon Leasing facility in Dallas, TX to perform preventative maintenance on trailers and refrigeration units.

You will handle scheduled and non-routine repairs to meet DOT standards, inspect lights and wiring, and service brakes, wheel seals, suspension, and insulation. A clean, organized shop and reliable teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of trailer technician experience.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to read and understand operating manuals and written instructions.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and non-routine repairs to meet DOT standards.
• Ensure lights function properly and wiring is secure.
• Repair or replace brakes, wheel seals and suspension.
• Foaming of Refrigerated Trailers.
• Maintain a clean and neat shop.
• Additional duties as assigned.
