Job summary

Stevens Transport, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Technician for an overnight role in Dallas, TX. The position focuses on preventative maintenance for trailers and ThermoKing refrigeration units, with growth opportunities within the Paragon Leasing group.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of trailer technician experience, reads manuals, and holds a Class C license. Basic tools are required; ThermoKing PM experience is a plus. The role supports a busy shop with a strong safety focus and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of trailer technician experience.
• Ability to read and understand operating manuals, service manuals and written instruction.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to clearly read, write and speak English.
• Basic tools set for job functions.
• Preferred: Preventable Maintenance experience on ThermoKing units.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and non-routine repairs to meet DOT standards.
• Ensure lights are functioning properly and wiring is secure.
• Repair or replace coupling issues.
• Repair or replace brakes, wheel seals and suspension.
• Repair or replace airlines.
• Preventive maintenance on ThermoKing refrigeration units.
• Maintain a clean and neat shop.
• Additional duties as assigned.
