Job summary

Pace Transportation seeks an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the trailer repair service department. You will coordinate service schedules, guide technicians, ensure quality repairs, and help maintain customer satisfaction.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on knowledge of trailer repair processes. You’ll work on-site with the service team to drive efficient operations and ensure safety and regulatory

Qualifications

3+ years in trailer repair with supervisory experience.
Strong leadership and customer service skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and trailer repair techniques.
Solid understanding of safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising and mentoring service technicians and staff.
Help schedule and allocate tasks for efficient workflow and timely repairs.
Aid in training and development sessions for staff.
Serve as secondary contact for customers on service inquiries and repair status.
Support resolution of complaints with timely, professional responses.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships to drive repeat business.
Assist in managing daily service department operations, including inventory and equipment maintenance.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
