Job summary

Happy Trailers, a family owned business with 14 locations in Texas and Oklahoma, is seeking a Service Advisor to guide customers through trailer service needs and ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge in trailer repair, excellent customer service, and upselling skills. Previous dealership experience and service writing are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Upselling techniques to advise on needed services.
• Experience in trailer repair and automotive diagnostics is preferred.
• Familiarity with transmissions, brakes, suspension, and diesel engines is a plus.
• Experience in sales or service writing within an automotive environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their service needs.
• Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs.
• Prepare accurate estimates based on customer requests and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain clear communication with customers on status of vehicles.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain records of services performed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly.
• Stay updated on automotive repair trends and policies.
