Trailer Mechanic Technician (1st Shift) – $24–$28/hr. | Monday–Friday | PTG Logistics

Location: Newnan, GA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Pay: $24 to $28 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trailers including dry vans, flatbeds, reefers, truck bodies, and specialty units.
• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs with precision.
• Install and repair key components: cross members, rails, flooring, wiring, lights, brakes, valves, etc.
• Read job orders, document work, and communicate updates clearly.
• Assist fellow mechanics and collaborate with vendors and customers as needed.

What You Bring

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience.
• Background in trailer repair, mechanics, carpentry, or as a technician.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently.
• Ownership of basic hand tools.
• Must pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
