Job Description

Essential Functions:

1. Set up and maintain production equipment and machinery throughout the plant, ensuring proper functioning according to specifications. Continuously repair machine breakdowns.
2. Troubleshoot equipment problems using PLC Technology.
3. Implement and perform the Preventative Maintenance Program.
4. Maintain non-production equipment (such as compressors) as needed.
5. Install new equipment and work on special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader.
6. Communicate work details and problem-solving steps through work orders.
7. Work any shift and labor hours as required (10+ hours).
8. Mentor new team members.
9. Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures related to the job.
10. Identify areas for improvement and assist in developing countermeasures.
11. Maintain and support IATF6949 standards and coordinate with Team Leads or halt processes to prevent non-conforming products from shipping.
12. Maintain awareness of environmental, health, and safety risks associated with the job and their impact on the environment.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Certified Maintenance Training or approximately 4-10 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Experience with numerical control or computerized numerical control machines, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is desirable.
