Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year experience with tractor/trailer maintenance.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic systems.
- DOT rules and company procedures familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
- Perform annual/systematic 90 day inspections on equipment.
- Ensure equipment meets Federal FHWA standards.
- Operate a yard hostler truck to move trailers within the facility yard and shop.
- Identify parts and supplies as needed.
- Adhere to OSHA and environmental policies and standards.
- Maintain clean, safe work environment and proper PPE.
- Use welding equipment as required.
