Job summary

Quality Repair Solutions (QRS) is seeking an energetic Trailer Mechanic in Delaware, OH. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing semi-truck trailers and tractors, with DOT and safety compliance as core requirements.

The position offers a 3rd shift (10:30pm–7:00am) and weekly pay. Base pay is $28/hour with a $0.30 shift differential, plus tool/boot reimbursement and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least 1 year of experience with general knowledge of diesel engines, air, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Must possess at least 1 year of experience with tractor and trailer maintenance and DOT rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair tractors and trailers.
• Perform annual/systematic 90 day inspections on equipment.
• Ensure equipment meets Federal FHWA standards.
• Operate a yard hostler truck to move trailers.
• Identify parts and supplies as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA and environmental safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform welding as needed.
