XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Trailer Mechanic in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role focuses on routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of trailers, following DOT, EPA and OSHA guidelines.

You will work varied shifts, earn competitive hourly pay, and be part of a safety-conscious shop. Expected pay ranges from $38.71 to $42.84 per hour, with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits including health, life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) match.

Formación

• 1 year of verifiable heavy-duty maintenance or entry-level technician experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to document safety inspections.
• Basic computer skills and shift availability incl. weekends.
• Brake and vehicle inspections per FMCSA regulations.
• Basic hand tools required for trailer maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on trailing equipment per schedules.
• Inspect and access equipment for maintenance, including areas under trailers.
• Repair or rebuild all or part of equipment systems.
• Abide by DOT, EPA, OSHA and related rules and regulations.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and productivity technologies.
• Move trailers on site and operate a hostler in all weather conditions.
• Enter job times and parts on repair orders to track activity.
• Operate specialized tooling and vehicles.
• Keep the work area clean, safe and organized.
• Interact with operations and shop management.
