TCI Maintenance in Kansas City, KS is seeking an Experienced Trailer Mechanic with 3+ years of hands-on tractor-trailer maintenance experience. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild trailer systems, including structural, mechanical, electrical, brake, and suspension components.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet insurability requirements. CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Specialized training in diagnosing and troubleshooting heavy-duty trailer systems.
• Proficiency with tools of the trade including welding, diagnostics, hand and power tools.
• A valid driver’s license; insurability requirements apply.
• Class A CDL with air brake certification preferred, but not required; CDL encouraged.
• Self-motivation and leadership skills.
• On-call availability and reliability.
• Commitment to growth via self-managed online learning and hands-on training.
