Job summary
Hirschbach Motor Lines is seeking skilled Trailer Technicians at our Kansas City, KS shop. You will diagnose and repair trailer and Class 8 equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document all parts and repairs using our systems.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of fleet maintenance experience.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing Class 8 equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and computer-based repair tools; training provided.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair trailer and Class 8 equipment issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Identify and classify repairs: preventative maintenance, component failure, brakes, dolly legs, doors and related hardware.
- Record parts, materials, and repair details in company systems.
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
