RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic in the Louisville, KY area for mobile service work. The role requires diagnosing and repairing semi-trailer systems, and performing preventative maintenance on trailers and components.

The position is outdoor and mobile, with a driver’s license required and DOT physical/drug screen. Overtime available, on-site roots with bi-weekly pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Trailer mechanic experience required.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid driver's license.
• DOT physical and drug screen required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About the Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an ++experienced++ Mobile Trailer Mechanic, or Diesel Mechanic , with a strong understanding of ++semi-trailer diagnostics and repair++. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

Benefits

• $24-$35/hour. Starting Pay commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
