RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is expanding its team in the Cincinnati, OH area. We are seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic with 5+ years of experience, capable of diagnosing and repairing semi-trailers on a mobile service truck.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively with customers and co-workers and is safety-minded. Benefits include competitive hourly pay of $24-$32, quarterly bonuses after 90 days, Monday–Friday daytime shifts, paid holidays and vacation time, 401(k) after 1 year,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a trailer mechanic.
• Strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts including ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional delivering top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and driving the Service Truck.

About the Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an ++experienced++ Trailer Mechanic (5 years or more preferred), with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

Requirements

• Experience required. ++5 years or more experience strongly preferred++.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
