RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic in the Indianapolis area. The role involves mobile service work diagnosing and repairing semi-trailer systems, with emphasis on safety and customer communication.

Qualified candidates typically have 5+ years of trailer experience, valid driver's license, and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. Overtime is available; benefits include paid holidays and 401(k) after 1 year.

• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About The Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an experienced Trailer Mechanic (5 years or more preferred), with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
